Veranda Awning – Sol de Mallorca

Our client didn’t want to roof over the terrace, as he wanted to make the most of the sun in autumn, winter and spring, but he needed sun protection for summer. He wanted to be able to sit on his terrace and enjoy the stunning views comfortably all year round — in other words, sun sometimes, shade other times.

We have exactly the product for cases like this. It’s a veranda awning that, in practice, works like a movable roof. The fabric rolls up into a box fixed to the wall and slides along rails until fully open, so it’s not invasive at all. When retracted, it’s very discreet. What’s more, our veranda awning models use a system of gas struts that tension the fabric so it stays perfectly taut.

It also blended in perfectly with the facade of the house.

We suggested installing three veranda awnings to cover the whole terrace, which could be operated independently or all at once, as preferred.
