Today I’m going to focus on one of our new Bandalux® products for this half of the year: the new rechargeable battery motor for roller shades or roller blinds and for Neolux night and day roller blinds.
Neolux or night and day roller blind
This new feature is excellent news for anyone who wants to motorise their roller shades or blinds but can’t because they don’t have a power point for an electric motor nearby. Which, incidentally, happens quite often. So if you’re in this situation, you now have the solution at hand. Just give us a call and you can have your roller blinds made to measure with a rechargeable motor.
You must be wondering, how does this rechargeable motor work?
The roller blind or roller shade always has the motor inside the tube (so you can’t see it). A white cable of around 10 centimetres comes out of the motor, and you’re also given a charger, similar to a mobile phone charger, which you plug into the mains and connect at the other end to the white cable coming out of the blind’s motor. This way you can charge the motor’s battery and… voilà! Simple, isn’t it?
It’s very similar to charging a mobile phone, with the difference that you’ll need to charge your blind’s motor every 6 months if you operate it twice a day. If you operate it more often, it will need charging more frequently. To be more precise, one charge is equivalent to 180 cycles.
