Fortunately, this is a dynamic market, companies keep innovating, and I’ve got some fantastic products to show you.
Last month, Bandalux® innovated once again and launched the new B-Box outdoor roller blind, and B-Box Duo for indoor use.
B-Box, designed for outdoor use
This is an outdoor roller blind housed inside a box with a sober aesthetic and clean lines that blends perfectly with contemporary style. Put simply, you won’t be able to see the roller itself, as it sits inside an elegant box that adapts perfectly to Mallorca’s modern façades.

You might be wondering what’s actually innovative about this product, or what the difference is compared with the D-Box or the S-Box.
There are basically two differences between the B-Box and the D-Box or S-Box:
First, the box is more understated and adapts better to façades, especially modern ones. They’ve reworked the box’s aesthetics to improve and update it.
Second, it reduces the gap between the bracket and the fabric. This isn’t a minor detail, because if you buy an outdoor box blind it’s to protect yourself from the sun and light, so reducing the gap through which sunlight can slip in matters, doesn’t it? What’s more, we get a lot of light in Mallorca, so this is a particularly useful feature.
B-Box Duo, designed for indoor use
In short, the B-Box Duo consists of two roller blinds inside a single box. You won’t see two rollers or two boxes, just one 13cm box.
This blind is designed for when you need a blackout roller blind for the night, which can also be paired with a decorative one for the day.
In other words, you’ll have a 100% blackout/opaque blind and a translucent and/or decorative blind for daytime.
And the great advantages of having both in the same box are:
-
We gain in aesthetics: instead of seeing two rollers, you’ll see one very stylish box.
-
We reduce the total space you’d otherwise need if you wanted to fit two separate roller blinds.
-
The roller blinds operate independently. That is, both can be chain-operated, both motorised, or one motorised and one chain-operated.
There you go! We have a practical solution for anyone who needs:
-
total blackout and sun protection
-
total blackout and privacy
-
total blackout and decoration
