Today I’m bringing you a new pergola: the new Saxun Bioclimatic Pergola (Model P150).
I’ll start by telling you about this pergola’s features, and then I’ll tell you about the advantages we see in this model.
Its features:
-
Its slats are adjustable from 0º to 135º, allowing the entry of light to be varied according to the specific needs of the moment.
-
Its roof is waterproof and, at the same time, breathable when the slats are angled to 5º. This is ideal for summer — well sheltered from the rain, yet cool.
-
What’s more, rainwater drainage runs through the pergola’s legs or columns.
-
This pergola can be installed with 4 columns, 2 columns, wall-mounted or free-standing — that is, according to your needs or chosen design.
-
It accommodates large dimensions: height 300cm x width 360cm x length 500cm.
-
The aluminium it’s made from is high quality: 6063 T5 aluminium, stainless steel and UV-filtering fibreglass nylon, meaning maintenance is virtually non-existent.
-
Its finishes are made to Qualicoat, Qualideco and Qualanod specifications, allowing for different finishes: standard RAL, anodised or wood-effect lacquer.
Its advantages:
Now I’ll tell you about the most striking advantages of this model — or at least the ones we like best.
Ease of installation
One of the most advantageous features of this new model is how easy it is to install. Thanks to its clip-fit profiles, no screws are required, which reduces assembly time, making it an easier, quicker and more affordable job.
Design
Its design is very sober and clean, allowing it to blend in better with any architectural style.
Perimeter sealing
Its perimeter sealing system prevents driving rain from getting in and, what’s more, stops light from passing directly through reflection at the joints between slats and between the slats and the frame.

Exterior motorisation
The motor for this model is located at the top of the pergola, so it isn’t visible from inside the pergola.
Motorised bioclimatic pergola
Additionally, this model supports a range of optional products that we can install on our bioclimatic pergola to make it cosier and get more out of it, such as:
LED lighting
This type of lighting adapts to different settings, as it lets you adjust the light intensity, with a choice of warm or neutral tones.

Sound system
You can play music from any Bluetooth device, smartphone or tablet via a very simple wireless connection, all thanks to an app that’s the only tool you need to manage this system.

WindScreen
This is a blind specially designed for outdoor use which, thanks to its zip-guided system, withstands strong gusts of wind. What’s more, because it closes tightly, it can also double as a mosquito screen.
The WindScreen can be opened and closed using the same automation system that controls the pergola, ensuring a perfect seal, or independently with a remote control or by hand.
