Hello everyone,
Most of you are probably wondering… What are they? Or what do pleated blinds actually look like?
The truth is, it’s one of the least-known products in Spain, though not in Northern Europe — and yet it offers a huge range of solutions and advantages compared with other products.
In countries such as Sweden, Finland, Norway, the Netherlands (Holland in particular) and Belgium, the pleated blind or pleated curtain is one of the most common and popular types of window covering.
Pleated blinds have fabric folded into pleats, resembling an accordion, which allows them to take up very little space when retracted.
They have very fine guide wires running along the sides, whose job is to gather and operate the blind however you like, giving the fabric enough rigidity that it doesn’t sag.

As I mentioned, pleated blinds come with several advantages, such as:
– They offer several operating methods: cord, chain, wand or motor.
Pleated blind
– They take up very little space: thanks to their pleats and small headrails, they take up hardly any space when retracted. That makes them ideal for small windows.
Pleated blind on a narrow window
– Easy to install. They can be fitted even in tight spaces, such as door and window frames.
Easy-to-install pleated blind
– A huge range of pleated models: for irregular or regular windows, skylights, dormer windows, fixed models, tilt-and-turn windows, and more.
Pleated blinds for small windows
– Different opening systems: top-down, or bottom-up.
Pleated blinds that open top-down or bottom-up

Decorative pleated blind

Pleated blinds in restaurants
– They fit any window shape: square, rectangular, triangular, circular and more.
Pleated blind in a special shape
– There are also “cellular” pleated blinds, which have a second layer of fabric on the back, arranged in the opposite direction to the front layer in a honeycomb shape, creating a blackout pleated blind that brings total darkness to the room.
